Head coach of Belarus’ national team, Alexander Khatskevich, announces line-up for friendly matches against Northern Ireland and Ireland

The training session — scheduled for May 23rd — will feature 22 players: goalkeepers Andrey Gorbunov, Sergey Chernik and Andrey Klimovich; defenders Denis Polyakov, Maxim Volodko, Igor Shitov, Alexander Martynovich, Sergey Politevich, Roman Begunov, Yegor Filipenko, Mikhail Sivakov; halfbacks Sergey Kislyak, Stanislav Dragun, Igor Stasevich, Mikhail Gordeichuk, Pavel Nekhaichik, Alexander Hleb, Sergey Krivets, Sergey Balanovich, Ivan Mayevsky; and attackers Sergey Kornilenko and Nikolay Yanush.

The team will train on Minsk fields run by the Association of the Belarusian Football Federation and, on May 26th, will fly to Northern Ireland for a friendly match on May 27th, at Belfast’s Windsor Park Stadium. The next day, the squad will travel to Ireland to play its second such match, on May 31st, at Turners Cross Arena, in Kotka. Both rivals of our Belarusian footballers will perform in the final tournament of the European Championship in France.
