Gomelproekt Institute JSC has won the ‘Small and Medium-Sized Companies’ nomination, while Gomelglass JSC, Automobile Trailers and Bodies Plant MAZ-Kupava JSC and Milavitsa JSC JV are laureates in the ‘Large Companies’ nomination. The Rechitsa Hardware Plant reached the finals in the ‘Large Companies’ nomination.
The judges highly praised the significant potential of these companies, noting that they have been steadily improving their business practice in order to be socially responsible, working on their management and technologies.
The International Quality Tournament of Central and Eastern European Countries has been organised since 2005, with support from the European Foundation for Quality Management. Its aim is to encourage businesses to improve efficiency and competitiveness, allowing them to compete under global conditions.
Several Belarusian enterprises and organisations have previously taken part in the tournament, including the Belarusian Steel Works, Private Unitary Machine-Building Company KOMPO, Babushkina Krynka JSC and the Belarusian State Institute of Standardisation and Certification.
