The newest development of Belarusian programmers and the State Automobile Inspection of Minsk is aimed at changing the situation. An application called ‘Carnet’ has been created on the principle of a social network that allows drivers to exchange free messages with each other, and with inspectors of the capital’s State Automobile Inspectorate online.

Information exchange about traffic between participants promises to be mutually useful. As developers of the project Alexey Porodzinsky and Alexey Kulevets have promised, the State Automobile Inspectorate will supply drivers with important news, warnings and information about the situation on the roads, whereas, in the State Automobile Inspectorate, they expect from drivers to share any activity. Thanks to the new communication facility, you can report about an incident on a certain part of the road or about defects of the road surface.

“We can’t promise that changes will happen in an instant, but with these combined efforts, we will do everything to change the situation on roads for the better” says Dmitry Korzyuk, Head of the State Automobile Inspection of Minsk.

Furthermore, the mobile application allows drivers to correspond. For example, you can enter the number of a car into ‘Carnet’ to tell its owner that his car is stopping you from leaving your parking space. After this simple action, the programme will instantly contact with the owner of the car.
Thanks to mobile development, drivers can also express thanks each other and inform about disorder.
