The 20th International Specialised Fair — Mass Media in Belarus — demonstrates the history of mass media development with examples of the oldest Belarusian newspapers, while representing new communication technologies and ways of distribution of diverse information via all accessible communication channels, primarily multimedia.

As is traditional, Mass Media in Belarus acts as a venue for discussing the state and development of the Belarusian information field and setting plans for the future. Its programme envisages round table discussions, seminars and master classes featuring leading journalists and media specialists.

On the first day of the fair, the awards of the 12th National Contest of Printed Media — Zolotaya Lira (Golden Lira) — were presented.

As part of the event, the 11th Belarusian International Media Forum — Partnerships for the Future — will be held, gathering heads of mass media companies, leading politologists, CIS and non-CIS experts.
