Alexander Lukashenko receives congratulations sent by leaders of foreign nations on the occasion of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

The congratulation from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin reads: ‘In July we will have to properly celebrate the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invaders. The liberation became a crucial point that determined the outcome of the war to a large extent. We will never forget the price paid for the victory and the significant contribution made by the Belarusian nation to the common cause of the downfall of fascism’.

The President of Russia highly praised the efforts of Belarus’ leadership to preserve historic truth about the Great Patriotic War events. “I’m convinced that the glorious traditions of comradeship, mutual supportiveness and unity, tempered during the war, will remain a solid foundation for the development of allied relations between our nations,” he noted.

In his congratulation Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said he was confident that the deep traditions of friendship, good neighbourhood and mutual support, as well as dedication to the promotion of integration ties within the CIS, will continue advancing Kazakh-Belarusian allied relations.

Mr. Lukashenko also received heartfelt congratulations that wish success, wellbeing and prosperity to the Belarusian nation from many other foreign leaders, alongside public and political figures, and heads of integration associations.
