An Icelandic electronic band will arrive in Minsk as part of their world tour, in order to promote their new album
Participants of the group GusGus are not limited to the framework of one genre, they play a mix of techno, house, and also jazz, rock, down-tempo and ambient. Spectators will see such a musical cocktail on November 11th, 2014, their second performance here since March 15th, 2012.GusGus is called the most successful Iceland group, and also the champion on the amount of change of the group’s composition. Mexico is the ninth album of the Icelandic group and was issued on June 23rd. As the participants themselves say, Mexico represents vibrations of electronic influence, pure euphoria of soft vocals and exact rhythms. The album also contains a house stomper — Another Life, a dense atmosphere of a melancholic ballad called This Is What You Get When You Mess With Love, and a growling, rigid instrumental composition Mexico.
Performances of GusGus are always filled with improbable energy, impressive light shows and, of course, songs performed from the stage. Besides compositions from the new album, the present programme contains their well-known hits David, Shaving, Need In Me and Hold You.
