Basketball players of the Belarus national team successfully start the qualifying tournament of the 2015 European Championship
At the Minsk Sports Palace, in front of 2 thousand spectators, in the first match of qualifying group D, Serbian expert, Dusan Gvozdic, made sure his team did not allow any chance of success to their Danish guests, beating them comprehensively 97:72. Throughout the game, the advantage of the home team was overwhelming.This was expressed by their emphatic 25 point win. Alexander Pustogvar, with 24 points and 11 rebounds in defence, was the team’s top player.After the match, the winning coach noted that this had been a real team, in which each player helped their partners, had shown good defence and played successfully in attack, despite the pressure of their opponents.
