Good home training
World’s sixth seed, Victoria Azarenko, prepares for Wimbledon at Minsk’s Republican Centre of Tennis Olympic Training
Ms. Azarenko has spent several days in Minsk training under close attention from her squad, comprising Mike Guevara, Wim Fissette and Sascha Bajin. According to Victoria, she’s on good physical form, after experiencing problems during the Roland Garros and in Nottingham (where she planned to play on grass).
After home training, her preparation for Wimbledon will continue abroad, with the Grand Slam series launching on June 27th in London. Last year, Victoria reached the quarter finals of Wimbledon, where she lost to American Serena Williams.
