National hockey team forward Andrey Kostitsyn signs contract with Russian KHL club Sochi


Andrey KostitsynAndrey Kostitsyn recently ended his contract with Chelyabinsk Traktor, being sent to farm-club Chelmet for his final days, and being absented from any official matches. During his time with Traktor, Andrey Kostitsyn played 135 matches and gained 66 (31+35) points — in the ‘goal+pass’ system, with a total indicator of usefulness of ‘-6’ and 132 minutes of penalty time.

Kostitsyn has played repeatedly for the national teams of Belarus, across various age groups. The new head coach of the national team, Vladimir Krikunov, has invited him to take part in national team training, in time for the international EuroChallenge tournament, in Slovenia.
