Belarus is discussing exports of wooden homes to France

The idea was discussed during a working trip of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France, H.E. Mr. Pavel Latushko, to Burgundy. The visit was arranged on the initiative of the Secretary of the French-Belarusian Business Club, Yvon Vogel. Negotiations with representatives of French companies were held to discuss the implementation of joint economic and cultural projects.

In particular, negotiations on supplies of BelAZ trucks, including to Africa, were held with representatives of HBI Groupe. An increase in the export of Belarusian wooden homes was discussed with representatives of the Robin Wood Invest Company. In May 2014, the company signed a dealership agreement with the branch Domostroenie of the Newsprint Mill. Negotiations on finding potential suppliers of rawhide for Belarusian enterprises also took place.

Issues concerning the organisation of the conference that will take place in Minsk in October, to focus on the future of the dairy products market, were discussed as part of interaction between the Embassy of Belarus in France and the French-Belarusian Business Club.

In furtherance of the negotiations that previously took place in the National History Museum of Belarus, the Ambassador visited the workshop of the sculptor G. Perrault, in the city of Tournus. The organisation of an exhibition in Belarus dedicated to events of the year 1812 was also high on the agenda.
