Country invited as guest of honour
Belarus is to take part in 5th International China-Eurasia Expo — hosted by Xinjiang, northwestern China — in September, as a guest of honour
Irina Dudich, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of Belarus to China, described how, during the exhibition, Belarus will make presentations outlining our main industries, showing our investment climate and tourist resources to representatives of the various regions of China and other Eurasian nations. As a guest of honour, Belarus will have its own national pavilion to highlight its agricultural enterprises, petrochemical, mechanical engineering and other facilities. “We will help establish contacts between Belarusian and Chinese companies,” said Ms. Dudich.
Belarus and China are working together on the implementation of major economic projects, while developing interregional co-operation and contacts in the scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres — which indicate the high level of mutual political trust between Belarus and China. The second session of the Chinese-Belarusian working group on regional trade and economic co-operation is expected to take place during the Expo.
