Belarusian runner Olga Mazurenok among top ten women at 35th London Marathon.

In the IAAF Gold Label Road Race, as ranked by the International Association of Athletics Federations, the Belarusian clocked 2:25.36, to finish 9th, setting a personal record. Among European runners, only Portuguese Ana Dulce Félix finished ahead, in 8th place, with a time of 2:25.15. Olga won the San Diego Marathon last year.

Ethiopia’s Tigist Tufa won her first London Marathon title in the women’s race, having pushed forward in the last kilometres. In second place was Mary Keitany of Kenya, who won the event in 2011 and 2012. Ethiopian Tirfi Tsegaye finished third, having won the Berlin Marathon in 2014. The Orlen Warsaw Marathon (IAAF Silver Label Road Race) recently featured a great number of Belarusian athletes but Marina Domantsevich showed the best time, finishing 4th.
