Belarus and China study establishment of joint training centre
Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister, Anatoly Tozik, recently met a delegation from the Dalian Polytechnic University, headed by Rector Guo Dongming, discussing the opening of a new Belarusian-Chinese training centre and agreeing to reinforce collaboration across all areas. A possible venue for the centre is a new branch of the Chinese University in the Province of Liaoning, which opened in 2013 and has capacity for 10,000 students.
The Dalian Polytechnic University is a partner of the Confucius Republican Institute of Chinese Studies at the BSU. Our universities have been closely liaising in student exchange, scientific research and joint events: aiming to popularise Chinese culture in Belarus and Belarusian culture in China. A special fund to support co-operation with the BSU has been opened at the Polytechnic University.
