The opening of the new season on the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society shown on the big screen
The 77th concert season of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society was opened with a concert of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Belarus, directed by Alexander Anisimov. It was transmitted live on the big screen in the capital’s Svobody Square.
The project of virtual transfer from the hall of the Philharmonic Society to the street was called by its authors Classics-Online. On the steps of the Upper City concert hall in Svobody Square, a 6x4 TV screen was erected. The broadcast was accomplished by fiber optic, given by RUE Beltelecom, which guaranteed a high quality picture, and the installed stereo system ensured clear sound.
Irina Krikunova, a soloist of the Samara’s Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Vasily Svyatkin, Honoured Artiste of Russia, and Victor Lutsyuk, Honoured Artist of Ukraine and a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, participated in the concert.
