The display is organised from funds of the National History Museum. The exposition includes six thematic sections. Here are objects of soldiers’ life, medicine, samples of weapons and uniforms, photos and documents. A separate section is devoted to honouring by our contemporaries, the memory of the victims of the ‘Great War’.

Belarus during the First World War is a large project which over the next few years will be seen by residents of the big cities. In September, the exhibition moves to Minsk, and by the end of the year, it will arrive in Grodno and Gomel. The exposition is one of the key activities dated to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WWI.
