Following summer holidays, Dinamo Minsk ice hockey players begin training for new season

On meeting in Minsk and gaining acquaintance with newcomers, the team has begun training. Their home match against Minsk Yunost saw an experimental line-up from coach Ľubomír Pokovič and a 2:3 loss. However, Dinamo were more decisive at Czech Krawarz, playing their second friendly match of the KHL eighth season, against one of the Czech Republic’s oldest clubs: Witkowice. Belarus won 3:5 and enjoyed another victory against Oceláři hockey club, in Trinec, 4:2.
After completing their Czech matches, Dinamo moves to Moscow, participating in the Chernyshev Tournament from August 6th-9th, facing Moscow’s Dinamo, Spartak and Amur.
The Latvian Railways Cup, in Riga, will be the final stage before the season begins in earnest. From August 16th-19th, the Belarusian squad will play Riga, then Yaroslavl Lokomotiv and Kazan Ak Bars. The match for third place and the finals will be held on August 20th. Minsk Dinamo will play its first match of the new KHL season on August 25th, meeting Moscow Spartak, away.
