The exhibition of Belarusian artists “Land under White Wings” is being held in one of the prestigious Paris salons — Pier Cardin Centre. More than 50 pictures by 14 masters of painting representing different schools of Belarusian modern pictorial art are being exhibited there.
According to the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the exhibition has already aroused French visitors’ keen interest. The opening of the vernissage gathered both the French people of art and the Belarusian ones living in France, as well as representatives of Pier Cardin Fashion House, businessmen, public figures and leaders of international friendship societies.
Belarusian Ambassador to France Viktor Shikh, when opening the exhibition, spoke about Belarus and its contribution to the European art and also presented the idea of the exposition. The exhibition itself was organized by the Embassy of Belarus in France with the assistance of the Belarusian Artists’ Union.
