Bonsai — Music, Stark in Branches, a unique exhibition of dwarf trees, takes place in Gomel

30 showpieces of coniferous and broadleaves species are the work of local horticulturist, Dmitry Vikharev, who has taken a great interest in bonsai technics for over 13 years. The art of miniature live forms is very old and was specially developed in Japan. About 30 species of bonsai are known to exist with Mame being the most expensive and the smallest (no more than 7.5cm high) of them. Pine is a traditional tree for this creative work, with its branches daintily formed into tiny and intricate hieroglyphs.
