By 2017, Belarusian-Chinese BelGee to construct new plant assembling up to 60,000 vehicles annually

The enterprise will be located between Borisov and Zhodino. At present, the Borisov-based Avtogydrousilitel Plant can assemble up to 30,000 Chinese passenger Geely cars per year, with almost 2,500 vehicles produced in 2013.

Recently, the Chinese company raised its planned investment into the Belarusian project from an initial $445m, to $500m. Expansion should eventually allow up to 120,000 vehicles to be manufactured annually.

Over the first six months of this year, around 4,000 Geely cars were sold in Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, with another 6,000 planned for sale in the second half of the year.
