BelAZ opens its first service centre in India
The opening ceremony in the city of Nagpur was attended by the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Mikhail Myasnikovich, and the General Director of OJSC BELAZ — the Management Company of BelAZ-Holding, Piotr Parkhomchik.

BelAZ’s co-operation with India began in 1966. Since then, the country has bought hundreds of BelAZ vehicles, so the opening of BelAZ’s first service centre in Nagpur is significant for the maintenance and servicing of BelAZ vehicles in the region and for further advancement of beneficial co-operation. India intends to increase coal extraction by over 300m tonnes by 2020. The effort will require buying new vehicles and training qualified personnel.

As part of the business forum, the BelAZ delegation met with representatives of Indian companies, and a number of co-operation documents were signed.
