British QS Agency has been ranking universities worldwide for ten years, naming the top 700-800 (3 percent). The QS ranking relies on information provided by universities and polls by independent experts, such as academics and employers, as well as the citation index of research papers for the last five years, the correlation of the number of professors and students, and the number of foreign students and professors.

BSU is very well represented in international rankings as a top league university. According to the Spanish Webometrics Rating Agency, the BSU is ranked 673rd (August 2014).
