Tatiana Petrenya and Anna Gorchenok took silver for their synchronised trampoline routine

30th Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships finish in American Daytona Beach, with last day of competition seeing Belarusian athletes enrich medal collection with more silver and bronze

Tatiana Petrenya and Anna Gorchenok took silver for their synchronised trampoline routine, boasting 42,700 points, among eight finalists, to share second place with Canada. China took gold. Meanwhile, Nikolay Kazak and Vladislav Goncharov claimed silver for the men’s pair synchronised trampoline.

In the individual trampoline event of Olympic discipline, 2014 European champions Anna Gorchenok and Vladislav Goncharov each won bronze. Vladislav claimed 60,390 points, behind two Chinese representatives, while Anna was only outshone by Chinese Liu Lingling and Canadian Rosanna MacLennan.

In the overall team standings, the national squad of Belarus was ranked 6th, with two silver and two bronze medlas. None took part in the tumbling or double mini-trampoline events. China outstripped everyone in the quantity and quality of their medals, claiming 7, followed by Russia (4) and the USA (3).
