A singer with surprisingly different voices
A young vocalist Marina Vasilevskaya is known to the public as a repeated winner of different international festivals and contests. She is a pop-singer, but it doesn’t prevent her from being a soloist of the National Academic people’s orchestra named after I. Zhinovich. There are not only popular songs in her repertory, but also many compositions in a folk interpretation. She is also captured by jazz singing.
Marina has been singing since early childhood. She studied in the music school, graduated from Mogilev lyceum of music and choreography, then she received a diploma with honor of the University of culture and arts. Recently in the Great Hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic the first recital of Marina “I love” has been taken place. Into the program were included favourite songs of the singer in Belarusian, Russian and English languages.
Vasilevskaya is getting ready to film in her first professional video clip, where she will make an accent on the original idea. Probably, this will be an English song of a folk-rock direction. She also participates in prestigious song contests and prepares to them thoroughly.
— I can’t say goodbye to the contest line of my creative life, — Marina Vasilevskaya confesses. — This is so fascinating! And this is a good school. At the contests new contacts are being established, there you can obtain useful information and experience...
Besides, at one of the international music festivals Tatyana Boeva — a vocal teacher of a famous Russian singer Larisa Dolina — which took part in the work of the jury, said about Marina: “Once this girl comes to the stage and takes a microphone, lifts her hand — and victory belongs to her!”
Vasilevskaya has a dream: to take part in a musical. One day her dream will come true, because a young artist possesses not only wonderful vocal skill, but also bright actor’s skills.
